Salary: £27.04* an hour including agency commission rate at £4.01* an hour
Key Responsibilities:
As a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician you will:
Accurately dispense medications and ensure the safe preparation of pharmaceutical products.
Provide expert advice and support to patients regarding their medications and treatments.
Work collaboratively with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Maintain and update patient records, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory standards.
Assist in the management of pharmaceutical stock, including ordering, storing, and inventory control.
Essential Requirements for the Role:
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services, BTEC National Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science, or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting is preferred.
Registration: Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Attitude: A proactive and positive approach to patient care and teamwork.
