Role and Responsibilities: 

As an ODP, you will be responsible for: 

  • Assisting in the preparation and management of the operating theatre. 

  • Supporting patients before, during, and after surgery. 

  • Collaborating with the surgical team, anesthetists, and nurses to ensure patient safety and comfort. 

  • Managing surgical equipment and maintaining sterile conditions. 

Requirements: 

  • HCPC registration as an Operating Department Practitioner. 

  • Previous experience in an operating theatre environment. 

  • Excellent communication and team-working skills. 

  • Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
