Prevent the spread of Coronavirus with the NHS COVID-19 App

Keep your loved ones protected against the spread of the coronavirus with the newly introduced NHS COVID-19 App.

The App is substantial in its use to track and inform the public when they are at a high risk of contracting the virus.

The app works alongside the NHS Test and Trace.

The mobile app notifies the user but not limited to the following:

  • Contact tracing alerts -  The app sends out a notification based on your surroundings and who may be infected with Covid-19. 

  • Postcode alerts - This alert sends out a notification when there’s a risk of infections in your area. This will help you to be extra cautious when you are out on your daily routine.

  • Exposure alerts - The app allows users to check-in at venues and will keep a record of who was in the vicinity at that specific time.  Should anyone test positive for Covid-19 at a later stage the app will send out an alert to notify the user to get tested.
